To use the Community Server to host your group's site send an email to info (at) bvserver.ca.
You will need to have two members of your group sign the user agreement.
In order to have a web site you need three things:
1. A domain name - like bvsoccer.ca or campcaledonia.ca or whatever you like. The top level domain doesn't have to be .ca, there are others. To get a domain name you need to pay a registrar. There are local registrars and we can put you in touch.
2. Content - this is the information you want to have on your site. There are many computer programs that will help you with this part. Both the Smithers Public Library and the Northwest Community College library in Smithers have books about this and you should talk to a librarian there.
3. A computer to host the content. This is where we come in. If you sign our user agreement and tell us what domain name you have we will set up the hosting computer for you and tell you how to get access.
